Fort St John Loves Families Week Is Back!!
Buick Creek Ready Set Learn Event!
Buick Creek held their Ready Set Learn Event with a total of 8 children attending.
Miss Tamara, our StrongStart Facilitator held a Scavenger Hunt style event. The school age children were able to help the Ready Set Learn children to teach them a matching activity at one station and read to them at another.Updated Read with Me Events!

I recently ran a “Small World Play” professional development session for our district ECE and Early Learning Facilitators. Using Small World Play in our centres is a great way to extend learning through play using themes or stories that are being presented in the classroom.

We had a wonderful opportunity to show some Early Childhood Education Practicum students our amazing StrongStart program.
Many of the students had never been to a StrongStart, so it was great to share this wonderful resource with the ECE community and show how StrongStart fits into the Early Learning Framework.Fort St John Settlement Fair 2022
Early Learning along with the School District 60 Settlement Workers Program got to be a part of a great event last Saturday! We attended the Fort St John Settlement Fair 2022. The fair is in partnership with some wonderful city agencies all in the name of helping and getting info out to families both new to Canada and Fort St John.
