  • Family Literacy Day Events

Friday, January 27th is Family Literacy Day.  But there are events happening all week to help celebrate! All are family friendly but not all are aimed at pre-schoolers.  All events are free but some require pre-registration.  Check out the ones that might suit your family.

Check out this link to the Library Summer Reading program.  This is an excellent opportunity to celebrate literacy in community with other families.  The summer staff is excellent!

  • Michael Kusugak is coming to the Public Library

On Saturday, April 30 at 2 pm, Michael Kusugak is coming to the Fort St. John Library for an hour of storytelling.  This is a rare and awesome privilege for our community.  This is one of my favourite authors.

  • Special Library events in January

Lots of opportunity at the FSJ Public Library this month.  Pre-school and elementary story times continue on Wednesday and Thursday at 10:15 am and Saturdays at 2 pm.  These are an excellent way to introduce your family to the library.
